Oat Biscuits
These oat biscuits are pretty healthy as far as biscuits go! Very little sugar and lots of nuts. Enjoy with a nice cup of masala chai or coffee.
Ingredients
1 x bowl self rising flour or brown wheat flour
1 x bowl porridge oats
1 x bowl coarse chopped almonds
1 x bowl of coarse chopped pistachio
4 x tbsp sunflour seeds
4 x tbsp pumpkin seeds
1 x tbsp ginger powder (optional)
1/4 x bowl sugar
1 x tsp Bicarbonate soda
1 x 250 grams butter
Method
Mix butter, sugar and bicarbonate soda
Then add all the dry ingredients and mix
Leave the mixture aside for 1/2 hour
Take some of the mixture and roll into a small ball
Press the ball between your palms to flatten the mixture
Place on a baking tray
Bake at 180 for 10-15 mins (or until golden brown)
